This Privacy Notice is designed to help you understand how and why North Yorkshire Education Services (NYES) process your personal data specifically in relation to their membership of the Institute of Customer Services. This notice should be read in conjunction with the Corporate Privacy Notice.
Who are we?
North Yorkshire Education Service is a ‘Data Controller’ as defined by Article 4(7) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We are currently members of the Institute of Customer Services and need feedback in order participate in this process.

What personal information do we collect?
In order to complete the survey NYES will send the survey link to employees and customers of NYES.
For employees and customers we will collect;

Why do we collect your personal information?
We collect your personal information to contact you with a link to complete a feedback survey.
Who do we share this information with?
We do not share your personal information. The surveys are carried out by the Institute of Customer Services and their sub-processor, The Leadership Factor. Survey responses are not linked to you. Therefore, data subject’s right to Access does not apply to this as the responses are anonymous.
How long do we keep your information for?
NYES will retain your personal data for as long as is necessary to complete the survey. Each time the survey is completed the list of emails will be gained again to ensure the lists are accurate and up-to-date.
What is our lawful basis for processing your information?
NYES processes your personal data for as part of the Institute of Customer Services membership as part of exercising their legitimate interest.
