Top Marks for NYES School Advisers
North Yorkshire Education Services is a leading provider of services to schools across the UK, working in partnership with educational settings to deliver a real difference to pupils.
As part of our dedication to delivering first class services, over 20 of our educational advisers have now obtained the Association of Education Advisers (AoEA) accreditation. This acknowledges the quality and consistency in the advice given by our advisers to the schools we work with.
The AoEA concept has been tested with several national stakeholder leaders, local authorities, multi-academy trusts and individual academies, colleges and schools. They have all enthusiastically backed the concept, including Association of School and College Leaders (ASCL), Confederation of School Trusts (CST), National Association of Head Teachers (NAHT) and the National Governance Association (NGA).
We’re now supporting the Association in the further development of the programme, working with them to ensure that the standard of advisers working in schools and with pupils is of the highest level of quality.
Joy Willis, School Improvement Principal Adviser commented “we work extremely hard to deliver first class services to schools. Securing the best outcomes for the pupils is at the heart of everything we do. To have this work recognised and formally accredited is a testament to the hard work, professionalism and expertise of all of our staff”.
Les Walton CBE added “it’s been great working with the initial group of advisers for NYES and we’re looking forward to working with more in the near future. We are looking to actively grow the number of accredited advisers across the UK and would welcome the opportunity to engage with advisers who are keen to be recognised in their field”.
